All right. OK, so we're going to call the meeting. Right. Yep. OK. All right. So today is Thursday, January 22nd of the new year, 2026. So first meeting of the year. Can we have a roll call, please? Ballard. Here. Farrell. Here. Sinko. Here. Rafforn. Here. John is absent. We have minutes given to us. Anyone have any additions, changes, or corrections to the minutes? If not, can I have a motion? A motion to approve the minutes of December 18th, 2025. Second. Colorado, please. Burrell? Yes. Casinca? Yes. Barack Martin? Yes. Ballard? Yes. Okay. All right. So let's go over what we're going to do today. Apparently, and Eric, you can correct me on a couple of things. So today we have some petitions that were continued to February 19th, 2026, and that's ZR 2025, Paul Pruitt and Keith Klein at 2511 North Dunn Street. We have ZR 2025, no, I should actually read the dates. The first one was ZR 2025-12-0114, and this next one is ZR 2025-12-0116, that's H&U Rentals, LLC, 1,004 South Henderson Street, and the third to be continued to next month is ZR 2025-12-0117, and that's Rusty Wampler, and that's 105 East Frisco Drive. Those are the new designations we're using, right? So those are only consistent this year. Yes, and just for clarification, these are continued to the February 26th Board of Zoning. Because I know the agenda says February 19th. That's a week off. the February Board of Zoning Appeals meeting is February 26th. That's the fourth Thursday. It's in general the third, fourth, but it is the 26th. That's what's in the development review committee calendar. Okay, that's great. So let's make a note on that. So it's the 26th. Thank you for that. We had two petitions. One other one that had, it's continued right from Monroe County. Yes, so one petition that was slated for tonight's agenda, ZR 2025-12-0019 for Monroe County School Corporation at 3901. Yes, thank you. 019 for Monroe County School Corporation at 3901 North Kinzer Pike is also continued to the February 26th agenda. They did not get their public notice letters out, so that is now able to be heard. So there is only The one petition that was tentatively on the agenda for tonight, ZR 2025-12-0115 for Value Build Inc. 614 North Grant Street. And per the staff report for that, we are recommending that this case was heard by the hearing officer and was recommended to be forwarded to the Board of Zoning Appeals. by the agenda that was placed on the immediately preceding Board of Zoning Appeals agenda, which was tonight. However, it has to go to the Historic Preservation Commission before it can be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals. So it needs to be continued to the February 26 hearing. So the board does need to vote on that since it was legally on the agenda for tonight's hearing. So what we'll do then is since we're at reports and communications, we can go ahead and before we go through a list of petitions to be heard, let's go ahead and have a motion for that so we can get it off the list and then we can go on about the other things that we have. So can I have a motion to move that, please? A motion. A motion for DR-2025-12-0115, is that correct? Mm-hmm. To be moved to February and not January 22nd. Don't move, it's February 26th. Correct, Eric? Correct, yeah. Do you have a second? Second. Roll call, please. Is that gone? Yes. Yes. Ballard? Yes. Correct. Yes. Okay. So with that, we have no petitions to be heard tonight. Correct. And we do have one piece of business, which is in order for us to continue to convene, we need to have a, what do you call, slate of officers put forward. and we need to have a vote, and with that vote, we'll be able to end our meeting this evening. So do we have any nominations for a slate? If you want to perform a full slate, that would be terrific, which would be president, vice president, that's on the move, correct? Yeah, so usually you elect one at a time. So I nominate Bill Brock Martin for president of the BZA. Same. I have a motion and a second. Any discussion? Seeing none, call the question, please. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I have a motion for the vice president for the Board of Voting Appeals for 2026. Not a floppy around this last president for easy. A second. Second. Any discussion? Seeing none, I call the question. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. And I believe that concludes our business. Is that correct, Eric? Okay. That is correct. Will we be in chambers next week? Yes. Next month? Yes. Okay, so we'll be downstairs after all this is done. So any further actions? I will say the two petitions that we did take action on last week have been removed from our discussion. Eric did brief us at the very beginning. Do you want to brief us on that? Yeah, so the administrative appeal had been filed just to preserve legal rights to that particular petitioner. That particular case has been resolved in the background, so that was no longer necessary. And then the other petition did not have a complete application for their public notification letters, so that was removed as well. If that one comes forward, they'll refile and will place on the agenda in their regular cycle. Any other business for this board? Anyone? Seeing none, I adjourn.
