I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Our Heavenly Father, we come before you once again. We thank you for the school town we serve. We thank you for the volunteers we have. We thank you all for your blessing. You stole this little town and all the families represented here. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen. Let the roll call show that all members are present with the exception of Emily Kelley. Yes. Okay, review of accounts payable. I've looked through those. Serena is definitely in there. none of the things like that correct. Right. Thank you. This is something probably fall. They may come and get from Serena. The afternoon meeting and you can look through it and you have an idea what we spent things on. I have one more. Yeah. Entering a motion to approval accounts payable. I'll make a motion. Second. Do you have any journal? Yes. Laura Hill. Yes. Katie Michael. Yes. Ronnie VanEvander. Yes. All of it is Heritage Trail rental. I don't think we need those on, do we? I don't think so. Okay, if he's got a copy of the Heritage Trail rental form, now the council tonight, that the town council is going to consider removing where it says certificate of liability insurance, $100 minimum town of Alexville shall be listed in additional insured attached there is the agreement. They're wanting to take that off, correct? So is there anyone here that have any problem with taking that off? No problem. I think it will detour a lot of people because that deposit is hefty. So far no one has even inquired about it really. No, it's it's just too much too much to I guess to deal with the hassle. So as far as, I mean, what would be eligible for a claim if there's a deductible? There's just too many different steps. So I think I've decided to take that. We have had a lot of people rent it already. Really? Oh, yeah. I got five or six last week. So I co-approved yesterday for her little one's birthday. It had a little problem Saturday after the wedding was there. What was later on? Later was all around. So that was kind of a problem. But there's some things that are still in the works, I guess, with procedural type things. Yeah. I'd like to have it. It's the only thing that was of our approval for the board considering taking off the insurance. Well, then that's up here, right? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, the committee to reopen the nation from the park. Okay. Let me see if I can get that out. We did a little bit of a dive into what's in Ellsville and what's in Richland Township. According to national park and recreation standards, we're setting pretty good. Just going to be a little short on the amount of trails. if the organization goes through. We did stick with a five-member park board, two being town of Ellsville, two being Richland Township, and one being appointed by the school board. Cemetery 17, in total, I believe in the township, only responsible for the ones that are abandoned and not on private property, so that would be two. and I think it's like $10,000 in budget for the upkeep of those two cemeteries. What else? We would like to see a master plan of the parks done. We talked about a five-year period that my pharmacy probably need to be done sooner in order for grants. So we do recommend a quick turn around and become a parks master plan if the reorganization goes through. Anything else that I'm missing, Jimmy? Did you divide the town, the township at large or did we do two for the town, two for the township? I don't remember if we recommended that or not. I don't agree there on that because that was something Jim Perry put together and I didn't have that chance to go through Enrique's report. I did listen to Cats the other night and I don't remember if there was an at-large on there. OK, with five, I just wondered how that would work. OK. So the board will have a representative from the main Boston School Corporation on? It has forever, yeah. Does it need to be looked at to add somebody for 7 Oaks? Since it's getting so big. That's a no. Well, I mean. But you didn't mean to cut change. So I mean, are we still even allowed to add to our reports? Now we can define a one of the four. Yeah, I don't think we are. Yeah. So. But could that be part of the master plan? I think whoever does the master plan, they recommended. Yeah. So is the master plan being done by Mike Farmer or? It's not being done by anybody right now. It's just a suggestion. Yeah, it's just a suggestion. I moved in like three different organizations to do parks or do parks and recreation master plan. Yeah, I just saw that Westfield is releasing their master plan. And I'm going to try to get a hold of that. I mean, we're not at Westfield, but as things are going the right way, Yeah. We get some more businesses or residential pickup. Yeah, especially with the two additions out on the west end of town. Well, along those same lines, the subcommittees are pretty well done meeting. Is that right, Paula? Yeah, that's right. And this meeting every Wednesday now through at least May, maybe into June. And once the total once it's agreed upon and send it to the state, then we can come, we don't put any information out there, that's my understanding. We stop all information right there. So then the Department of DLTF, whatever that is, they'll decide, do we do a good job, do we not? And we're pairing ourselves after Sheridan. Sheridan also has a master for hardware. Yeah, Sheridan has a township in there. a little smaller than we are, but they're still on the level that we are. So we feel like what they did don't probably suffice for us. And now I'd like to entertain a motion to invite Paula to be our secretary as Serena phases out. You'll help train her, right? She's interested and wants to be involved. As long as it's approved, I guess. The last I heard, I thought it had to be a member. of the board. Oh, really? I'm going to have to check. Two or three years. I know, but that was different for me. Because I'm an employee. But I will check, and we'll go forward with it. I'd like to go ahead and entertain a motion for that. Here's our motion. I'll make the motion. Second. Serena? Jimmy Durnall? Aye. Laura Hill? Yes. Katie Michael. Yes. Yes. Welcome aboard. Tell us a little about your background Paul. I know a little bit. Tell us about it. I actually have a degree in Parks and Rec. I've not used this since I've had it. I was at PhD for 23 years in their business office. I'm over at IU now at Indian Institute of Disability. Are you from around here? I'm from Fritschler. Fritschler, yeah, I like Fritschler. I've been in Monroe County since 1998 and Ellesville Price since 2000. Yeah. And I have your email, Jack. Yeah. OK. You can find it. Anybody else? We do need a motion to approve the expenditures. Oh, we didn't get that. No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I just wanted to know if you guys got that information. But not from the county. We had stuff from Richland Township because the county will continue overseeing the parks as far as Flatwoods goes and the trails. Oh, okay. In Denver, yeah. Why was that brought up? Because I don't think it was very much, was it, Paula? What was that? I don't think it was very much. No, and I do not have budget for Richland. Right. I've got town of Ellis, though. But I do not have the other one for Richland. OK. We'll come up with that for next week. Anything else? What do you think? What do you think? Can you make a motion to adjourn the meeting? Say yes. I have to say what else we need. I entertain a motion to adjourn the meeting. I make motion. I second. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
