I've looked at those. I'll make a motion to accept the accounts payable expenditures. Is there a second? I'll second. Ronnie, roll call. Jimmy Durnall. Yes. Laura Hill. She's not present. Katie Mike. Yes. Ron Van Eever. Yes. And Emily. Yes. motion passes. Okay, I've got down here review of the organizational plan. I'll just update you. So you may already know that the organizational plan passed the final vote of the two, of the two boards, two to one on the Richland side, which scared us because the Don voted yes. And then I can't remember his name, Hickenbottom or what is his name? Something like that. Anyway, he voted no and we thought maybe the other one might be leaning no, but he voted yes to take it to the public. So it's gonna go to the public November the 2nd. So that's where we're at. And that's the township board members? That's township and town board also. The town board voted four zero four. We had one absent that night. I'd like to ask you, I got the right. I'd like to ask you, I'm going to be gone the first Monday of August. Would August the 12th work for anybody to move our meeting to? Yes. All right. Okay. I'd like to have a motion on that. I'll make a motion. I'll second. Katie made the motion. Got a second? Yeah, I'll second. Emily, Emily second. Ronnie, roll call. Ron Van Eever, yes. Jimmy Durnall, yes. Yes. Laura Hale, not present. You voted for me now. Yeah. Katie Michael. Yes. And Emily. Yes. Thank you. Who seconded that? Ricky, pardon me? Who seconded that? I did. I did. OK. Yeah. Thank you. Ricky, what do you got for us? Well, I've just been trying to do work with the race. MAG-7 series chose our race as a special gym race for the year. So if you participate in our race, you get extra points. Because people who sign those races get some points in the year. So they did that. So I went to, I gave you time. And I actually made them a co-race director so they have access to registration. So that when people come that morning, they can just go right to them. They can give them access the way they go. If I can make the race kind of better and better, I have to say to the people I have this year, I may have to think about moving the starting line up further to probably get a little bit up here. But it doesn't really matter because the chip time in your race time does not start until you cross the starting line. Whereas what we've been doing, it starts the same time for everybody. So if it takes you 30 seconds to get up there, you're not going to run. Yeah, you don't want to apply that. I've sent out a couple of email glasses. Everyone who's ever read it in the last three years, I've got people signing them already. I've got the shirts picked out. Night out promotions, they make signs. I've had them make a sign for me on the professional site for a pacing chart. I made those three signs, and one will be not to park at People's Day Bank, so we don't have that since we've Do you think I need to go in there and say something to say? You need to go talk to him. Would you be OK if people parked there? Well, what I was thinking, why can't we take 10 or 12 cones down there and block off parking spots? See what he says about that. Yeah. And in fact, I had another sign made for the other end to close off the thing. I got to give it a mark back because I think the Monroe County parks, they want to be named as a park. They want a certificate of insurance that they're covered. And Mark Batch suggested that problem. He's already done that for me in prior races. So I got all of them. He's going to do that for this race. It's just a little certificate that they're covered. So pretty much, I got the awards already picked out. I got the poor quality order. So I'm going to just kind of get this up lined up because the more cushion I have, I just feel better having something all done. So that way I can focus on, is there anything else now I can do to make it bigger and better for people? What's the date? It's September 19th. And parking is still going to be a fair old challenge. It's going to be a challenge, yeah. Investors in the Marcy J. Lewis Park, which isn't a problem so far. I've all offered to run races myself for races. I'm going to try to get a hold of Luther Church. But they never returned my calls about parking in their parking office. There's no right there. I'm sorry. No, I think that'd be OK. Yeah. Would vendors be close enough to use it? Yeah, it would be. I never really thought about going there and asking vendors. Also, the old fire station, is that part of the name? Oh, that's what he's talking about. Yeah, that's what I said. Marcy Lewis, yeah. When they say Marcy J. Lewis, they see that people will park there. OK. If there's no one spot there, they'll park there. OK. My problem is just trying to make sure people don't park where they're not supposed to. And I'm sorry, I did not mean to upset you. I did have on my website, do not park, which I did in this year, don't park when people come in. But I will have a big sign, a little sign saying do not park. So. Let's see what he says about taking 5, 10, 15 colons down there. Yeah, yeah. Say what he needs for that day. Yeah, they do. Yeah, they just use them for the fireworks. And we've got some station to. They seem to. I mean. I don't play on getting run over by. in the near future, but I could get sick or something. I mean, there's definitely somebody that I would be more than willing to train and aid in. I bet it's all lined up. Here's the phone numbers. Here's all you need to do. Here's a little cheat sheet. These two, this is all I'm going to do to be ready for this race. If you can find somebody that you want to take this course with, it's not that I would want to not stop doing it. You know, I'm not 25. You know, I could get sick or who knows. I would be interested in helping you and learning from you and stuff. I don't know if the town council would have to approve that as well. He's a volunteer right now. I'm more than willing to help out this year. I've got a story that I can sit down and take a look. I've got pretty much a lay down who to call. It's just fine to just try to make those signs. And each year I try to do something to make it a little bit better. But it'll be to the point where you don't really need to do anything. And it's to the point where here, you just got to follow these things and do it. Well, it's good to have that set up, that second person set up, ready to go in case something did happen. And my son, he's got to come. He's kind of like a photographer or something. He can make a nice little video, like they send out to people. But I had to check this run sign, because generally, when you sign up for something like that, Within the waiver is an agreement that you agree to get your picture taken. And if that's in there, then I'll have them do it. If it's not in there, I'll probably avoid doing that. Because I don't understand why you would object to having your picture and video in the race. But usually, they have it in there. We have the rights of videotaping and whatever. That's all there. And if there's anything else that you think I can do, Well, I put it on my neighbor and then Denise puts it on the town Facebook. Is it on the town of Facebook? I don't have Facebook. Well, it doesn't answer race approaches. I mean, it's kind of too early to do that, because people created others. But maybe like a month beforehand? I don't know. I would say that it's not quite too early. I want to see if Denise can get it out there. But she's done that for me before. And like I said, I sent that email last. I just sent the second one. So everyone who's ever participated in this. And that's why I'm starting to get people already signed up. We just missed five pay at the fairgrounds, and I mean, we knew about it like maybe three or four months in advance, but there were way more people than they expected the last time because of, I guess, how much notice they put in. Yeah, the next step in the series pulls in people just because of that, and then maybe that's just because of that, especially Jill, because Jill Massey, who's the director of that, said that she kind of likes our rates. Yeah. She's running it every year. So she designated that, and that really helps out. At some point in time, I don't want to leave that site. I think it's a real good site. It's just the logistics aren't that great in that corner for people parking and getting to that. But I don't want to leave that site. Because there's no way you could park in that. Across the street, you've got all that marine area by the trail. But there's no smooth, flat. You've got to drive over the curb to get in. You know where the race starts, right across the street, there's that grassy area on this side of the trail. So you've got Heart Street Road coming up to 46? Which side of Heart Street? And he's talking about the grass area? How about the creek? Yeah. There's a gate there. But there's like a little curb that you'd have to drive. I'll have to check with Mike on that. It's not like a driveway. That wouldn't quite work. If it wasn't muddy or something. A couple of hours it's just going to hurt the grass. Definitely can't do it where the new No, because there's no little bridge across that creek. Well, exactly. Plus, it's just fresh grass. I mean, it just moved a plant. And there's not any place really to park in there anyway in that building. It's just for a few cars. Right. So you have to walk all the way up, walk that little access road between Heart Street and that little big room. I don't think you want people walking on that little section of Heart Street between the corner and... Probably not. No, that's right after the good state block. By the way, I had been at an intersection before. People were blowing that red light. Hurt, right? Yes. So I always watch when I try to cross it. Because I go there sometimes to park the car, I guess, to use the trailer. And I learned one time that, man, I got to do the stop. Would an all-terrain vehicle help you or a golf cart? You know, I didn't say anybody that really would, because here's what happens before the race. I usually go down. the night before I put up my distance arms, because I learned that I can't do that race day, there's no way. But I do have to put out cones, and I do need to really kind of give the course, ones where I always warn people about wall messing, perhaps being on the internet, that way I could maybe do a sweep of the course, put my cones, get my sign out there, close the course, and I can take my people down there, but I have someone stationed at the model turnaround, and then by patron, And then I get back, because otherwise I have to drive out on, what is that, Hart Street, and then drive in there. And it is pretty anxiety-ridden right before the race. And then I have stuff I have to set up. So if someone could have a part out of it, that would be really, really nice of all. Good. Do you know that someone might have it? Might be able to come up with something, maybe. Yeah. OK. I would say thank you. If you could pull that off, that would be really nice. We might have to do a little sponsorship for the people, but I think we could get. Yeah. Well, if we have to, let's just read in the park. Yeah. If Ronnie can't get the funds, we'll just read to your card for that day. But doesn't the town have like those little, what do you call those little ATV type of things? Yeah, they do have an ATV that I was thinking about the town has that maybe we could use that day. Or talking to Bobcat and seeing if they would loan us one like they've done for other events. Yeah, that's a good idea. Very, very good. And then we just give them sponsorship some way for people to see that. Yeah, whatever you can do in that regard, that would really help. That would really help. All right. Thank you. That's all I have. OK. I think Emily was on the Facebook thing. I don't think she's talking about just making a post. On Facebook, you can create an event. And then people can say, interested in going or not interested. And you can share. It's something that they kind of follow. It's not just like a, like Denise posting one time on the Facebook page. Do you think Denise knows how to do that? Probably not. If she doesn't, I mean, I do. I mean, if you give me, like, details, I could, I mean, it's not very hard. My phone, do you want my phone number or email? Can we, just a second, Ricky, hold on. Before you share that information, let's do that later. Okay. Yeah, just let me know. Yeah, I can make that. I mean, it's really easy to make an event. I have an Ellipsville email. I'm keeping this in there. We have some issues. The town is not going to do the typing for the parks board now. So after tonight, we'll be down two months, which isn't bad. So I don't know. You want me to try to outsource it? What do you mean the typing? Like typing the minutes? Yeah, that's right here. I'll not take care of it, but. You could type? Well, yeah, I could type. You want to try? Yeah, I mean, do we think that the town could maybe come up with a little extra money? I think $25 an hour would be pretty good. That's a good job. No, I'm serious. I'd be interested in doing that. Okay. So, all right, you get with Serena. Okay, get the paperwork. Like I say, we're down two months. Okay. And you got to do it on this paper. Right. Okay. I will get with Serena and follow up on that. Let the record show that Ronnie Vendee is going to do the typing. What a great lift. Thank you very much. Do you have any problem with Leah's still doing the agenda. I just walk in and tell her, you know, what I want. If she would send it out. Well, we didn't, we didn't get it till about two o'clock this afternoon, but I'll try to do that. I'll try to do that. And then we need to, I mean, it was nice getting the accounts payable and expenditures and stuff like that from Nicole. Oh yeah, she sent them to you? Yeah, she used to send them and I have not received them. I mean, Do we not need to bring any more accounts payable then? No, if we can get them sent to us so we can look at it earlier. I thought you said they were being sent to you, so. Well, they were being sent to us and then recently, like within a month or two, they stopped. Okay, I'll check on that tomorrow. Okay, is there anything else? Looking into next year, I'll probably still remain on the board, but I'm going to have to turn over the presidency to someone else. So be thinking about that between now and then. I'd say Ronnie would be a good candidate for that. So it's everything else. Katie? I don't have anything. How's my little girl? She's good. on the minutes on the old business was there anything that you found out about the memorial service how'd that go you went real well that went I just Yeah, well yeah Jill Thurman and Lisa Lisa Kuhn Lisa something I can't think her last name now, but she did a nice job So now I do like the decorations they put around them. Mm-hmm. Yeah Mike Farmer handled that so Okay, all right, what else so What's the name of the people that televised this? This will make BCATS assure the next meeting is August the 12th at 5 p.m. And if there's nothing else, I entertain a motion to adjourn. I will make a motion. I'll second. Katie? I'll second. Emily, second. Ronnie, roll call. Jimmy Dharman? Yes. Laura Held, absent. Katie Michaels? Yes. Ron Van Dever, yes. Emily? Yes. Motion carries. Well, thank you all for coming.
