Thank you for changing days. Even though I had to change, when I changed it for, I had to cancel, of course, something else come up for yesterday, so. But anyway, it's just better to have it today. It won't be a very long meeting, just like all of them, but. Yeah. I mean, you didn't change it like the night before. Yeah, yeah. We'll call this meeting to order. We stand for the pledge of allegiance. pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. I have the father become before you just one more time. And again, we thank you so much for this little town we serve. We thank you for the dedication these board members have. We ask you to be with us tonight and make those decisions that make this town roll. That's the same Jesus name. Amen. We're gonna get roll that, I don't know. All right, roll call, Mr. Ronnie. Jimmy Durnall. Yes. Laura Hale. Ron Van Diener, yes. Katie Michaels, no. Emily Kelly. Yes. Okay. Review of expenditures. Y'all had a chance to look at it. No one else sent one out not too long ago, so I'd ask for a motion to approve our expenditures. Star motion. Ronnie roll call. Jimmy journal. Yes. Laura Hales absent. Katie Michael absent. Ron Van Dever. Yes. And Emily Kelly. Yes. Thank you. Organizational plan. I'm not sure where you all are at on it yet, but I think it's probably a good plan. I'm hoping that we are able to do it. What have you all heard about it, anything? Just the stuff I've seen on, you mean on the whole town, just what I've seen on Facebook, it's back and forth. It's back and forth. Yeah. There was a, I think it's running for council. Well, there's a guy named Henry that's running for council. Then there's another one that is, I can't think of the other one's name. I think it was Henry, the younger guy. He did a really nice breakdown of it just right after a budget meeting out here. And he posted on Facebook and it was very- Pretty positive. Yeah, pretty positive. Okay, good. Saw a car. That's what we need. Fall festival review, the fall festival went well as far as I know and no hiccups at the parade. Did y'all attend? Yeah. Yeah. I was down there a little while. Not much, but marathon review, Ricky's running a nice race. So it was probably a hundred people there or more. Pretty good. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if he's going to continue to do it or not. Have you talked to him about it? Is he in the budget? Yeah, we can do it. He has his own budget now. He has his own money for the marathon. No, no, I mean, is he in the town's budget? Oh, I don't know. You mean for? Yeah, because I was understanding they were not going to have a part-time person. I hate that because Ricky's done a great job. There's the budget total for each section. They've taken a part-time out. That's what I got told. Yeah, I knew they were thinking about it, but I didn't think they would actually do it, so. Well. So he doesn't have his own budget? Do what? He doesn't have his own budget, then? He has a budget for the marathon, yes. OK, but not just overall. Not overall, yeah. I'm not sure why we did that. So. Well, we'll just have to do the best we can then. Next meeting is November the 3rd, be the day before election day. I've got on there need board approval, but we're not changing it this time, so we don't need board approval. And then congrats to Ricky and Ashwini about tracking the attendance, and you've got that in hand. Yes, I do. Also, I want to make it. Yeah. Also, I want to, you can have a copy there. That's true. I just want to also say publicly thank you to the public works department. They gave it they I was sick but they gave Ricky to you TV's to use down there. So I just want to thank Kip and the public works department for doing that. I appreciate that. I'm sure Ricky does too. I have the election date is on November 3rd. What did I say? Well, it puts election day November 4th in the notes. I'm sorry. That's OK. So are we meeting on the 3rd, or do you want to meet on the 4th? What's the calendar? The calendar, yeah. That's the election day is on the 3rd, and then the 4th is just the Wednesday, the next day. OK, that's off. So let's go November 2nd as the next meeting day. November 2nd. That's a Monday, right? Yes. OK. Sorry, I was like, I think it's on Tuesday. Thank you for bringing up my attention. Yeah. And just for the record, I've got some minutes that Katie needs to sign. And then we'll get them to the clerk treasurer. Everything, all of us are signed on it? Yeah, all of us are signed except the September meetings. OK. If you want to see the attendance. There's some pretty good tenants. Yeah. Yeah. Do you know, can I get a follow up about, I see they're doing work down at the Harrods Center on the silo down there. They're putting up a silo to make it more country looking. Where? Down at the Harrods Center. Oh, is that what they're doing there? I didn't know about that. Yeah, I think it's, you know, picnic area, photograph area, and stuff like that. But I'd really like to find out, and I got people asking, why is the parks not doing anything with the bathroom? This bathroom here? Yes. We were hung up with DNR for some reason. Was that D and I thought the trail was D and R. It was both of them. Okay. I'll check on that for you. I'll check with Mike tomorrow and check on that. Okay. I'd just like to get, you know, because I have a lot of people, there's a lot of people that's coming up here. You need a bathroom. Yeah. Thank you. Good point, Ronnie. Thank you. I do see a lot of good feedback about the park. Yes. Good feedback about the park and how close it is to the police station. Oh, they like that? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Because, you know, it makes you feel safe. Yeah. Mm-hmm. The police station's right there. Yeah. Well, I appreciate that. Yeah. You know, this just got the right date on it, November the 2nd. I had Leah put that together for me today, so. That's all right. OK, is there anything else you think of? No. I move for a motion to adjourn. So moved. I'll second. Oh, Ronnie, roll call. Jimmy Durnall? Yes. Laura Hale's absent. Katie Michael's absent. Ron VanEvner, yes. Emily Kelly? Yes. And again, thank you so much for moving the date. I really appreciate it. OK. Meeting adjourned at 1710.
