Dear conference participants, as the members of the Bloomington Silk Road Ensemble, we would like to
dedicate these two Azerbaijani songs as a tribute to the memory of our dear colleague and good musician,
Professor Aida Husainova. May she rest in peace. The titles of the two pieces are, Kimler Geldi Kimler
Getdi Bu Dunyada, Those Who All Came and Gone
from this world, composed by Sultan Hajiyev. Second piece is titled Hardasan Eyar, Where Art Thou My
Companion, composed by greatest composer of Azerbaijan, Sayed Rustamov. May she rest in peace.
