The driver's license does not have to match what's in the poll book. But they were still, even if it had, based on their registration, they presented at the wrong location. Because it looks like they were inactive. If they had been at the right location, all they would have had to do to become active would be to vote. But they were not. little yeah I'm not quite solid on the issue with this one this is and this is number 24 so the issue is that the address on the license doesn't have to match the address of the poll book but they still have to be at the right precinct and they were okay that's what that's kind of what I thought you said but I wanted to be sure so then Yes, so the spreadsheet will have the correct precinct that they should have been at next to their name, and then above with the name of the location, it tells you which precincts were at that location on the spreadsheet. Right. OK. So they were all in their own polling site. So unfortunately, I will make the recommendation to reject all three of these, 24, 25, and 27. 27. Second. those in favor? Aye. 24, 25 and 27. 26 was not in the poll book and appears to be registered in Allen County. So of course you have to be a voter registered in Monroe to vote in Monroe on the primary so I will make a recommendation that we reject voter number 26's provisional ballot. And to be clear, there is no same day registration in Indiana. So he registered. Maybe he comes from a state where they do have same day registration. But in Indiana, we do not. Then we are moving on to Grandview Elementary, where we have two provisional ballots. The seal is intact, and the number matches what is on your paperwork. There are two provisional ballots here. And so voter number 30, I checked to make sure before I started talking, they weren't even 17 when they registered. That's where the problem is. So not only were they under 18 by the time of November 24. Did you say they registered in 2024? yeah so they had registered in 2024 they were not even 17 at the time of their registration they have not yet updated their registration or re registered since then and so of course for the public you have to be 18 by the general but you can vote in the primary at 17 as long as you will turn 18 because i was like i voted at 17 so i had to I had to clarify, but they weren't even 17 when they applied. Maybe when you get your license, they said yes. So in 2024, they actually weren't eligible. They were not eligible. And then they needed to come in and register. Yeah, they were issued the letter that says you were rejected due to this reason. And are they, will they be 18 by this general? Yeah. Yes. Okay. So they did register, they registered when they were too young. They got a letter that says you're too young. You got to come back. And they didn't come back. Correct. OK. So they still need to register. But then they showed up to vote. Correct. But they would have been given new paperwork that day to register. But the provisional, they weren't. And then they were, the inspector at that location told them that they need to come in and fill out an actual registration form. So they were told to come in. So hopefully they will register. So if they don't come in, they will not be eligible in the fall. But if they do, they will be. Correct. All right. Thank you. Do we reach out to these people and tell them what has happened? Mr. Chair, if I may recommend that we address the next four in one motion, given that they all presented to Sherwood Oaks, which was the wrong location for where they should have been. And this also took place in that first 15 minutes once the polls were open. we have confirmed that they were truly registered yes they were truly registered their name was just misspelled so it showed that they were not in the poll book and not registered to vote when we look them up in our system in svrs we found the misspelling the voter came in corrected it on election day and their ballot should have been presented to them as a regular ballot i will then uh Recommend that we accept this power.
