I'd like to call to order the Monroe County Public Library Board of Trustees meeting on January 26, 2025. This is a specially called meeting because last week there was not a quorum, so we are revisiting. Yeah. Kill audio? I do not. Thank you. So we will need to approve the consent agenda, which we would have done at the last meeting, and then move on to an action item. So do I have a motion to approve the consent agenda? So moved. Second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Nays. Thank you. Would you like to say any words about the outreach services, Bookmobile? Sure, just kind of summarize what we talked about last week and I think a couple of times late last year that our current bookmobile has reached its expected lifespan, which is about 15 years. We've been building the specs, desired specs for this vehicle for a while. Chris Jackson, our Outreach Services Manager, has led this process. We did engage a consultant, Michael Swendrowski, who we've used in the past for outreach vehicle purchases. He's our principal liaison with the vendors who submitted bids, and we received two bids. From the industry leaders in terms of the vendors who build these machines or these vehicles and we were very impressed by the one from tech ops and that's the one we're proposing this evening for approval Comes in at our budget mark And we're comfortable with everything they're proposing. We ran the proposal itself through our legal team, who also had no concerns. So we're to the point where we're ready to say, yep, we're going to order this vehicle. And then from there, it will take anywhere from 18 to 24 months to actually build the vehicle from the ground up. But that's in keeping with our timeline. And we know that our current bookmobile, despite the generator problems, will get us through the next two years if need be. So we're pretty much ready to go. A motion to approve? So moved. Second. Okay, any additional questions before we vote? All in favor of the bid proposal and purchase agreement action item, say aye. Aye. Any nays? Ayes have it. Do we have any public comment? No? Do I have a motion to adjourn? Second. Thank you all. We are adjourned.
