I am really glad to see that everybody can come out here. I hope I didn't scare you too bad We put some more speakers in glad to see everybody out of college mall this afternoon And I hope you can be as excited today as we have been putting this together the fall fashions for 84 are Especially exciting this year There are some dark deep rich colors of this year that are a little different than time past some new cuts and some new designs and even some new descriptions and verbiage. So we're going to be underway in just a moment. We'd like to take just a second, though, to point out some things to you on our set. To the right over here, or to my right anyway, the chairs that you see are provided by Design Works, as are the lights that we've got down front. They've got some specials right now on home designs, and they're down in the Sears wing. So you might want to stop down and see some of the original design director chairs as they've got down there. They've got a good price on them as well. a whole multitude of colors that you can get the backs and the seats in. As well, we've got some new speakers that we're using this afternoon from Radio Shack that they've got a tremendous deal on. The relatively thin, small model speakers usually listed price is about $179. They're on sale right now for I think $89. Tremendous deal. So we want to thank Radio Shack for the use of the speakers and we might suggest that you might want to stop by Radio Shack and take a look at the price that they've got on those and some of the other deals they've got. This afternoon's music was put together by Lodestone Studios and Disjockey Records and we'd like to thank both of them for doing a tremendous job. Lodestone Studios is here in Bloomington, a recording studio that does demo tapes and as well They do radio commercials for anybody that's in the market for radio commercials or any kind of production. And matter of fact, they've got a Clio Award nomination on the wall right now, making us proud here in Bloomington of them. Disjockey Records, again, helped us out with some of the more current tunes that we've got in our library this afternoon. And you might want to stop in and talk to the guys, Brian and Rick and the guys down at Disjockey Records, who can find most any kind of music you'd like to listen to or take home with you. On your chairs, you'll find a program and our mall tabloid. There are some special deals inside the tabloid. And the program has a listing of all the stores this afternoon that are going to be in the fashion show. The way we've put this together, you'll see numbers right next to the different stores. Each one of the models that come up this afternoon will have a number on he or her. And there should be a corresponding number right there in your program. That shows you where you can find that particular fashion this afternoon or in the next couple of weeks as you shop for fall. And what we would suggest is right after the fashion show today, you go directly back to the store and take a closer look at what you've marked in your program. Just put a little check mark behind it. We are videotaping this afternoon and the videotape will be down at Sears. starting tomorrow. So if you'd like to view the videotape that we're doing this afternoon in our Take One production, you're more than welcome to stop into the electronic department in Sears and take a look at that. That kind of brings us up to the most important part of today. And that's our fall fashion presentation for 1984 called Take One. MTV, the movies, the music industry have all made great strides and influences on fashion, especially this year. You'll see some of that this afternoon. And that's the reason we have decided to pick our theme this year as fall fashion take one. With us, along with our theme this afternoon, are two very special guests from the Herald Telephone and WBWB. You've probably read their articles or listened to them on the air. reviewing the movies that we all like to go watch and the records we like to buy. We've got them with us this afternoon and they're going to be doing our commentary and that's Mike Pearson and Mike Leonard. You can see their articles in the fun section of the Herald Telephone on Fridays and it kind of tells you what's going on as far as the movies and the music that we listen to here in town. So I think if the stage crew is ready, we're just about ready to get underway. We all set? Okay, if you will then. Okay, quiet on the set. Lights. Camera. Sound. Action, take one.
